*Many  states require crab pots to have turtle excluders installed in each funnel. Additionally, some states have requirements for biodegradable escape mechanisms. When ordering, please specify the state in which these pots will be used in order to assure compliance with local legal requirements.

Half Size Crab Pots

1/2 pot is 1/2 the height of a full size crab pot and has no upper chamber. Waterfront owners who are subject to dramatic tides asked for these so they are ALWAYS in the water catching crabs . These half-size pots are made from the same quality vinyl coated wire as our full size commercial crab pots. They are also available in double dip galvanized non-vinyl coated wire.

RECREATIONAL CRAB TRAPS
 

Our vinyl collapsible crab traps are made here in our facility using only the best U.S. manufactured wire. Traps are available in two sizes - the "Little Jimmy" measures 10.5 x 10.5 inches on the sides and bottom. Our "Big Jimmy" measures 12 x 12 inches on the sides and bottom. Both Jimmies come standard with our own custom designed stainless steel bait spring. These traps are available rigged or unrigged.

Vinyl Box Traps

 

Like our vinyl collapsible traps our box traps are made here in our facility using only the best U.S. manufactured wire. Our standard box trap measures 10.5 x 7.5 inches on the sides and 10.5 x 10.5 inches on the bottom. Each trap comes standard with our custom stainless steel bait spring and is available rigged or unrigged.

These Foxy-Mate traps are made in the USA using galvanized wire.  Both the box and topless version come standard with door strings and the topless includes a bait spring. These traps are available unrigged ONLY!

Two Throat Eel/Fish Traps

 
 

Similar to our four throat trap, these two throat traps are efficient, reliable and catch well. These traps are made right here in our shop and are used extensively by Chesapeake Bay commercial eelers and fishermen. The rectangular design allows easy stacking and efficient use of deck space. Available in both galvanized and vinyl. Please specify eel or fish funnels when ordering.
